The Office of Institutional Research at Eastern Kentucky University plays
a vital role in the provision of information for planning and decision making
in both administrative and academic capacities. Institutional Research provides
official data and information about EKU for state and federal government,
other external agencies, and the University administration, faculty and staff.
IR supports University-wide strategic planning; supports Academic Program
Review; manages/coordinates the majority of campus survey development and
research; and provides/reports management information and policy analysis.
The mission of Institutional Research is to support the continuation of Eastern
Kentucky University as a student-centered institution dedicated to teaching
and learning. We seek to dynamically and efficiently support University planning
and decision-making through foresight, innovation, accuracy, timeliness, and
integrity.
